Sipadan is a famous island located at the east side of Borneo island, which is an island separed between Malausia and Indonesia. Sipadan is in the Malaysian waters, attached to the Sabbah state.

In fact, Sipadan island is unhabited now, there is no resort anymore on the island, just a military camp. People who go diving in Sipadan dive sites have to stay in the nearest islands or on a ferry boat. The closest islands are frm the closer to the farther : Kapalai, Mabul, Mataking. For example, it takes about 45 min with the dive boa from Kapalai or Mabul to reach Sipadan island.
